Why Do I Have To Register?

We require registration only if you wish to participate in the interactive aspects of the website. It is important that we maintain control over who and what is posted onto the site. We want this to be a forum that operates in the spirit of mutual dignity and respect. So to maitain that standard it is important that we know who is posting, where they live and what is their contact information. This way we can keep our valuable resource safe from being hijacked by those who don't have a vested interest in our community.
